With more than six kilometers in length and protected by the imposing mountain range of the same name, Famara beach is the largest in Lanzarote. This grandiose frame and the strong reigning wind – ideal for surfing and windsurfing – summon in this sector of the western coast of the island many lovers of the great virgin spaces, which later meet on the terraces of Caleta de Famara – installed on the same golden sand– to eat fresh fish and spend time admiring the majestic scenery.
